Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By July 8, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 70,979+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (57,575) and those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,404+). 

By July 8, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 136,879.

By July 8, 2025, according to news report, 994 Palestinians who were killed, 6,922 who were injured, and 12,606*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip:

On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate.

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيراً ‎(الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Gaza: Hospitals receive 52 martyrs, death toll climbs to 57,575

During the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of at least 52 civilians, including three that were recovered from under the rubble, as well as 262 people suffering from different injuries following Israeli attacks, according to Gaza’s health ministry on Tuesday morning.

Accordingly, a total of 7,013 people have been killed and 24,838 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 57,575 martyrs, including 766 aid seekers who were killed at or near US-backed distribution points, the health ministry said.

The ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 136,879 people, including 5,044 aid seekers.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

Dozens of Gazans killed, injured amid ongoing Israeli genocide

The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Tuesday, to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

Since dawn today, at least 50 Palestinian civilians, including several aid seekers, have been reportedly martyred in Israeli attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli strike that killed a civilian and injured nine others near Al-Quds Hospital in Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

An Israeli airstrike targeted a group of citizens in the Abu Habeeb area of Gaza City’s Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, killing and injuring several of them.

A man, his wife, and their five-month-old child were martyred when the occupation forces bombed their tent in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus.

Another Israeli strike killed a paramedic in the same area of Khan Younus.

The Israeli army killed two civilians when it targeted their car and also killed a girl child in an airstrike on a house belonging to the Abu Naseer family in the eastern part of Dair El-Bala'h City, central Gaza.

A girl child also arrived at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the head after an Israeli “quadcopter” drone opened fire at her in Gaza City’s al-Sabra neighborhood.

Separate Israeli airstrikes also targeted several tents sheltering displaced families in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus, resulting in multiple civilian casualties. Among the victims were two children — one was martyred and the other sustained injuries.

A child was martyred and other citizens suffered injuries in an Israeli attack near Al-Shaikh Radhwan pond in the north of Gaza City.

Dozens of people were also martyred or injured in Israeli attacks on aid seekers near US-backed distribution points in southern and central Gaza.

The Israeli army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Meanwhile, several Palestinians in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks.

 Israeli genocidal air strikes kill over 35 Palestinians, including children and women, in Gaza

GAZA, July 8, 2025 (WAFA) – 

Israeli genocidal air strikes and gunfire killed more than 35 Palestinians, including children and women, across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

Five people were reportedly killed and others wounded when an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of children playing on a swing and a tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of central Gaza City.

In a separate incident, one person was killed and several others injured when Israeli forces struck a displacement tent west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp.

Additionally, in southern Gaza, six Palestinians — including three children — were shot dead by Israeli forces near a humanitarian aid distribution center in northern Rafa'h, medical officials reported.

The latest attacks have pushed the death toll in Gaza since dawn to more than 35, with fears that the number could rise further as strikes on civilian areas persist.

At least 24 killed in Gaza by Israeli genocidal air strikes targeting displaced civilians, including former detainees

GAZA, July 8, 2025 (WAFA) – 

At least 11 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Tuesday evening by the Israeli drone strikes and gunfire targeted areas in Khan Younus and Rafa'h, in southern Gaza.

Medical sources confirmed that nine people, including four former prisoners exiled to Gaza, were killed when an Israeli drone strike hit tents sheltering displaced civilians at the Sanabil Camp, west of the Kuwaiti Hospital in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus.

The slain former prisoners were identified as Amjad Abu 'Arqoub from Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Ma'hmoud Abu Sariya from Jineen, Naji 'Abayat from Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), and Bilal Zaraa from Ramallah.

Separately, two more Palestinians were killed and over 35 others injured when Israeli forces opened fire on civilians in the Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafa'h.

These attacks bring the death toll in Gaza since dawn to at least 24.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel's ongoing assault on Gaza has killed and injured more than 194,000 Palestinians, the majority of them women and children. Over 11,000 remain missing, while hundreds of thousands are displaced, enduring famine and relentless bombardment.

 Israeli bombing kills three civilians, injures others in southern Gaza Strip

Israeli bombing on Tuesday evening killed three civilians and injured others in Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Israeli bombing targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the area, claiming the lives of three and injuring others.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians.

The death toll reached at least 7,013 with 24,838 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 52 slain Palestinians, including three retrieved from the rubble, and 262 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 57,575 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 136,879 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafa'h near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

WAFA correspondent reported that the strike targeted a tent housing displaced members of the Zu'rub family.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have launched a relentless onslaught on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 57,575 civilians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the wounding of 136,879 others.

This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.

 Israeli occupation forces issue mass evacuation orders in Khan Younus as forced displacement in Gaza continues

GAZA, July 8, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli military has issued new evacuation orders for thousands of Palestinians in Khan Younus, southern Gaza, forcing them to flee westward amid the ongoing war, now in its 21st month. The forced displacement is part of what Palestinian officials describe as a systematic campaign of genocide and ethnic cleansing.

According to local sources, the Israeli army posted evacuation orders on social media on Tuesday, demanding that all residents, including those sheltering in tents, leave several blocks in Khan Younus—specifically Blocks 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, and areas labeled 8801, 8802, and 8803.

The evacuation area includes major residential zones and humanitarian hubs, such as Nasir Hospital and its surroundings, Block "C", Jorat Al-'Aqqad, the Amal neighborhood, the Japanese and Dutch neighborhoods, the industrial area, and nearby locations.

Other areas ordered to evacuate include the Taiba Towers, Al-Shafi’i Mosque, the western refugee camp, the southern Buraq neighborhood up to Internal Security Street, the Turkish slaughterhouse, the church area, and adjacent districts.

The Israeli military warned residents not to return to these zones, labeling them “dangerous combat areas.”

 Israeli shelling of the area around Al-Zaytoun medical clinic forces its closure, leaving thousands without medical care

GAZA, July 8, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced today the suspension of operations at its Al-Zaytoun medical clinic in eastern Gaza City, following Israeli shelling in the surrounding area that endangered the lives of medical teams and patients.

In a statement, the Red Crescent said: "The Al-Zaytoun Clinic has been forced to cease operations after several shells fell nearby, putting the safety of staff and patients at severe risk."

The clinic had been providing vital medical services to thousands of residents and displaced persons who fled eastern Gaza following Israeli evacuation orders. Its closure now leaves countless civilians without essential healthcare, forcing many to walk long distances to access medical treatment or obtain children’s vaccinations.

The Red Crescent added that since October 7, 2023, at least 18 of its clinics in Gaza have been forced out of service due to Israeli attacks and evacuation orders.

This comes amid the near-total collapse of Gaza’s healthcare sector, already on the brink of shutting down entirely due to a critical fuel shortage, compounded by Israel's continued closure of border crossings since March.

Medical facilities are also grappling with severe shortages of medicines and supplies, while the number of casualties arriving at hospitals continues to soar.

Since March 2, Israeli authorities have tightly sealed Gaza’s border crossings, blocking the entry of much-needed fuel, aid, and supplies. Only a few dozen trucks have been permitted to enter daily, far below the 500-truck minimum required to meet the basic needs of Gaza’s population.

Israel’s ongoing aggression on Gaza, described by Palestinian officials and humanitarian organizations as a campaign of genocide, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, has left over 194,000 Palestinians dead or injured, including thousands of women and children. More than 11,000 people remain missing, while hundreds of thousands have been forcibly displaced and famine continues to claim lives, including dozens of children.

Gaza: Four killed, others injured by Israeli airstrikes

Four citizens were killed and others injured on Tuesday morning in Israeli airstrikes on the central and southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondents reported, citing medical sources, that two citizens were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on the Hikr Al-Jami' area in Dair El-Bala'h.

The same sources added that two martyrs were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on a tent housing displaced persons from Al-Ghalban family behind Nasir Medical Complex, west of Khan Younus.

A few moments ago, a number of people waiting for aid were wounded by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire near an aid center north of Rafa'h.

According to medical sources, the death toll since dawn today has risen to 13.

Gaza: 13 civilians killed, dozens injured by the Israeli genocidal air strikes

The Israeli occupation forces continued the aggression on the Gaza Strip at dawn on Tuesday, targeting civilian homes and shelters for the displaced. This resulted in the killing of 13 citizens, including children and women, and the injury of dozens more, in a series of violent airstrikes across the Strip.

Al-Shifa Hospital announced the killing of four citizens, including an infant, as a result of Israeli aircraft bombing a house near Carrefour Mall in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

The Baptist Hospital announced the death of two citizens and the injury of others as a result of an attack targeting the home of Khadhir Al-Jamasi, near the Al-Ibki Mosque in Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood, east of the city.

A health source at Al-'Awda Hospital in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp said that a number of citizens were injured when the Abu Helu Al-Sharqiya School, which houses displaced persons in Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, was directly targeted by Israeli airstrikes, sparking panic among displaced families.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Dair El-Bala'h received a female martyr and several others injured in an airstrike that targeted a room on the rooftop of the Abu 'Amra family home in central Dair El-Bala'h. The deceased was identified as Shareefa Mahir Kareem.

Al-Nasir Hospital in Khan Younus also received two martyrs after being targeted by an Israeli drone near Site 17 on the Khan Younus-Western Rafa'h road. They were identified as Ibraheem 'Imran Al-Bayoumi and 'Antar 'Aamir Al-Bayoumi.

In another massacre, four members of the same family were killed, and others were injured, in a bombing that targeted a tent for displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younus.

Palestinian succumbs to injury from the Israeli occupation army gunfire in Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Al-Khaleel (Hebron), July 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian on Tuesday evening succumbed to his critical injury sustained from the Israeli occupation army gunfire in the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron), according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

It announced that A'hmed Nafidth Jibreel Al-E'waiwi died of his critical injury he had sustained after being shot by Israeli occupation soldiers approximately six months ago in the city.

It added that Al-E'waiwi, 19, had been admitted to Al-Ahli Hospital about a week ago to undergo brain surgery, but his health condition further deteriorated, leading to his death.

Israeli occupation forces raid Al-Jalazoan refugee camp amid heavy gunfire and tear gas

RAMALLAH, July 8, 2025 (WAFA) – 

The Israeli occupation forces stormed Jalazoan refugee camp, north of Ramallah, on Tuesday morning, unleashing heavy gunfire and tear gas in a large-scale military incursion.

Troops reportedly spread through the camp's alleyways, in what residents described as a provocative and heavy-handed incursion, triggering widespread fear among civilians, particularly among children.

No injuries or arrests were reported. Military forces remained deployed in the area at the time of reporting.

 IOFs kidnap several Palestinians, attack others in West Bank raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and on Tuesday morning, amid clashes in some areas.

According to local sources, the IOFs stormed the southern area of Al-Khaleel (Hebron) City and kidnapped an ex-detainee from his home.

The IOFs also kidnapped two other citizens from their homes in Doura town, southwest of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), the IOFs kidnapped two young men after ransacking their homes in Al-Khadhir town.

During their raid in Al-Khadhir, the IOFs threatened via megaphones to disrupt daily life in the town if local youths continued to throw stones at the illegal Israeli settlers.

In southern Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), Israeli forces gathered in the eastern area of Joarat Al-Sham’a village before storming it and interrogating local residents during raids on homes.

Local sources in the village reported that the Israeli occupation soldiers inspected security cameras installed outside homes and stores.

In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young man from his home in Al-Am’ari refugee camp and stormed the towns of Silwad, Budrus, and Kharbatha Bani 'Harith.

The IOFs raided several homes during its raids in Ramallah and reportedly assaulted an ex-detainee, called Bahaa 'Awadh during a raid on his home in Budrus town. He suffered injuries and was rushed to a hospital.

In Jineen, the IOFs kidnapped a young man following a violent raid on his home in Al-Yamoun town.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed Beer El-Basha town in southern Jineen and kidnapped several local residents following raids on homes.

Local sources said that the Israeli occupation soldiers searched homes, interrogated residents and expelled farmers from their lands in the town.

The IOFs also raided the house of ex-detainee Sultan Khallouf in Burqeen town, west of Jineen, in an attempt to arrest him. His home had been stormed by Israeli occupation forces several times recently for the same purpose.

In a separate incident, an Israeli occupation soldier was injured last night when a Palestinian resistance fighter threw an explosive device at the Israeli occupation forces in the east of Nablus City, where a large number of the illegal Israeli settlers were defiling Joseph’s Tomb.

Violent clashes also broke out between local youths and Israeli occupation soldiers in the eastern area of Nablus and Qusra town during the presence of the illegal Israeli settlers in the area for rituals at the tomb. The IOFs fired live ammunition during the events.

The IOFs also prevented many local residents from reaching their homes in the eastern area of Nablus at the time.

Earlier, a large number of Israeli troops aboard military vehicles, including bulldozers, stormed the eastern area of Nablus City last night and spread through its streets in order to provide protection for buses and cars carrying dozens of settlers who came for rituals at Joseph’s Tomb.

According to local sources, the Israeli bulldozers blocked 'Amman street near Joseph’s Tomb with mounds of dirt and rocks, while snipers were deployed in buildings around the site before settlers flocked to the mausoleum.

The Israeli occupation soldiers reportedly assaulted young men after intercepting the car they were in in al-Quds street of Nablus City, while an IOFs vehicle tried to run over a young man as he was trying to reach his home near Balata refugee camp, close to the city.

Palestinian paramedics provided one citizen with first aid and transferred him to the hospital after he suffered shrapnel wounds during the IOFs raid in Nablus City.

Meanwhile, dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers gathered inside the grave of a local medieval Muslim Shaikh called Yousuf Al-Duwaik (which the illegal Israeli settlers falsely claim that it is the Joseph’s Tomb), where they danced, sang, and screamed loudly and hysterically for long hours, causing a disturbance to the local residents living around it.

The Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers storm every week the eastern area of Nablus to perform rituals at the tomb, which they claim to be the resting-place of the biblical patriarch Joseph, while locals and Palestinian historians affirm that the grave belongs to a local medieval Muslim Shaikh called Yousuf Al-Duwaik.

Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of 'Anata, northeast of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), on Tuesday morning, to demolish a building under construction.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that an Israeli army force, accompanied by several bulldozers, stormed the Salam neighborhood in the town of 'Anata and began demolishing a building under construction.

The governorate explained that the occupation authorities issued a decision more than a year ago to prevent the completion of work on the building, which is owned by citizens Mu'hammed 'Hamza Ghaith and Yaseen Ibraheem Abu Shamsiya.

On Tuesday morning, extremist Jewish settlers set up a new outpost and damaged crops in al-Khalil province, while the Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) demolished a Palestinian-owned building in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

According to local sources, settlers released their livestock onto swaths of cultivated land belonging to Palestinian farmers in the hamlets Khirbet Qawawis and Sha'b al-Battam in Masafir Yatta, south of al-Khalil, causing severe damage to crops.

A large number of settlers also stormed in the morning Khirbet 'Hamroush hamlet, east of Sa’ir town in al-Khalil province, and pitched a tent on Mount Al-Hadeeb as a prelude to establishing an outpost for themselves.

A few days ago, settlers set up a new outpost on Mount Al-Jumjumah in 'Hal'houl City, north of al-Khalil.

Local sources said that settlers placed mobile homes and Israeli flags on Mount Al-Jumjumah, which overlooks the towns of 'Hal'houl, Sa’ir and other Palestinian areas in al-Khalil province.

The Israeli occupation army had already built a military site on the mount, where there are also 22 Israeli telecommunications towers and transmitters.

In a separate incident, the IOAR demolished an apartment building under construction in Al-Salam suburb in the northeast of Jerusalem under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

In Ramallah, the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) raided several homes in Al-Jalazoan refugee camp, with no reported arrests.

The IOFs also raided a house belonging to Salim Al-Rajoub (ex-detainee) in Karisa area in Al-Khaleel (Hebron) and handed him a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet. He suffers from serious health issues and needs ongoing medical attention.

Illegal Israeli settlers storm village north of Aree'ha (Jericho)

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers Tuesday evening renewed their attacks on Palestinian residents in the village of Al-'Auja, north of Aree'ha (Jericho), heightening concerns about the possible forced displacement of the local Palestinian population.

WAFA correspondent reported that colonists stormed the village and grazed their livestock between the homes of the residents, a provocative move that has sparked fear among the locals.

'Hasan Mulai'hat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, warned that the recurrence of such attacks could be a prelude to a forced displacement of communities in the Jordan Valley.

He called on the international community to provide protection to the residents and take action to stop these ongoing violations.

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, stole a donkey and vandalized agricultural lands in Masafir Yatta, south of Al-Khaleel (Hebron, on Tuesday, according to local sources.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra told WAFA that a group of colonists from the illegal Mitzpe Yair outpost raided Khirbet Al-Qawawees, where they stole a donkey belonging to Palestinian farmer Jabr 'Awadh.

The illegal Israeli settlers further unleashed large herds of sheep near Palestinian homes and among fruit-bearing trees, causing significant damage to the crops. In addition, they seized several water wells and barred members of the Abu 'Aram Al-Na'ameen family from accessing them.

This incident reflects a wider campaign of colonist violence, aimed at forcibly uprooting Palestinian communities and paving the way for the expansion of illegal colonies.

Illegal Israeli settlers escalate violence against Palestinian shepherds in southern Bait La'hm (Bethlehem)

For the third day in a row, the illegal Israeli settlers have continued their assaults on Palestinian shepherds in the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem).

Zayid Kawazba, head of the Al-Minya village council, told local media that dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers attacked several shepherds in the eastern area known as Khalayil Al-Qasr r, forcing them to flee at gunpoint and barring them from accessing their grazing lands.

Kawazba warned that these repeated attacks coincide with a broader pattern of settler violence in the Al-Minya wilderness, where Palestinians have long faced home demolitions, arson targeting their tents, and the theft of wheat and barley crops.

He cautioned that such ongoing aggression aims to forcibly empty the area of its Palestinian residents, paving the way for new illegal  colony outposts.

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers set up a tent and a sheep pen on Tuesday on lands in the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Al-Khaleel (Hebron)

Local sources said that a number of colonists erected a tent and a sheep pen on top of Mount 'Hamroush in the town, owned by several families. This is part of a pastoral colonization plan supported by the occupation government to impose a new reality at the expense of citizens' lands.

It should be noted that last month, colonists attempted to seize vast areas of land in the Jourat al-Khail area, east of the town, after forcing citizens and shepherds to leave the area.

The illegal Israeli settlers continue to graze their sheep around citizens' homes and pastoral and agricultural lands in several communities and villages in Masafir Yatta, as part of their forcible displacement from their lands.

Illegal Israeli settlers steal livestock equipment near the Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, July 8, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Tuesday stole livestock equipment from Khirbet Al-Farisiya in the northern Jordan Valley, as part of the daily violations the area is subjected to.

Local sources told WAFA that the colonists attacked the Khallet Khadhir area in Khirbet Al-Farisiya and stole equipment belonging to Shamikh Daraghma, used for managing and caring for livestock.

The sources confirmed that this crime is part of a series of organized attacks carried out by settler groups against the residents of the village. These attacks include storming homes, terrorizing residents, pursuing shepherds in pastures, forcibly expelling them, and assaulting and stealing livestock.

Khirbet Al-Farisiya is one of the most targeted areas in the Northern Jordan Valley, as the occupation forces and colonists attempt to impose control over the lands and displace the population through systematic oppression and crimes against citizens and their property.

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday took over a tract of Palestinian-owned land in Al-Khadhir town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), according to a researcher.

'Hasan Braijah, a researcher on Israeli wall and colonists, said that the occupation forces seized six dunums of Palestinian-owned land in the 'Ain El-Qissees area, west of the town, to make room for the expansion of the nearby colonial outpost of Sde Boaz, established on approximately 100 dunums of Palestinian-owned cultivated land.

He expressed his concerns that the takeover of this plot of land serves as a harbinger for the large-scale takeover of land, an upsurge of attacks by Israeli colonists, and the deprivation of Palestinian farmers of access to their lands.

The settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

The settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.

Britain threatens more sanctions on Israel unless ceasefire in Gaza is achieved soon

UNRWA: Lives of Gaza's children are marked by death and destruction

New York, July 8, 2025 –

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that children in the Gaza Strip make up about half of the population and their lives are marked by "war and devastation."

In a post on X. the UN agency added: "Children constitute half of Gaza’s population, and their lives are marked by war and destruction."

UNRWA explained that children spend their time outside the classroom, forced to repeatedly flee their homes, and have nearly nothing to eat. “Out of classrooms. Forced to flee. Barely eating.”

The agency also noted that "there are one million children in Gaza."

The agency emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire in Gaza, stressing that peace is crucial not only for the children but also for a better future for the entire region.

According to human rights reports, children, alongside women, are the most affected by the ongoing genocide that has obliterated much of Gaza’s infrastructure and daily life.

For the second year in a row, children have been denied the chance to attend school, as Israeli forces have destroyed most educational institutions, and the remaining ones have been repurposed as shelters for displaced families.

Health Ministry: Alarming surge in meningitis cases among children in Gaza

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday a concerning rise in recorded cases of meningitis in the Gaza Strip, amid an unprecedented collapse in health, humanitarian, and environmental conditions due to the ongoing war and siege on the territory.

In a press statement, the ministry reported a clear increase in suspected and confirmed cases of meningitis, particularly among children under the age of five, the group most vulnerable to the disease and its serious complications.

The ministry noted that the deteriorating level of healthcare, with hospitals and primary care centers rendered inoperative or destroyed, coupled with a severe shortage of medications and a lack of children’s vaccinations, is hindering emergency response efforts.

It further pointed to several high-risk factors that have created fertile ground for the spread and outbreak of diseases, especially among the most vulnerable age groups with weakened immunity, including children, the elderly, and pregnant women.

“The catastrophic conditions in shelters, the acute shortage of drinking water, the spread of sewage, and the accumulation of waste are pushing the health situation toward further deterioration,” the statement added.

The Ministry of Health further issued an urgent appeal to all relevant entities to intervene immediately to improve health and living conditions, curb the spread of the disease, and strengthen the supply of essential medicines for confirmed cases as well as necessary vaccinations.

It also urged Gaza residents to follow proper preventive measures and medical guidelines to help reduce the risk of disease spread, particularly among children.
